Cane Creek AD5 ? : Sybil Link Knocking against the seat tube

I have a 2002 Sugar 3+ and had the frame replaced recently. When I disassembled the bike I forgot to let all the air out of the shock previous to disassembly. I have built up the new frame and most is well except the rear shock (CC AD5) It compresses fine but the rebound makes the Sybil link knockagainst the seat tube. What is wrong and what can I do? IDo I need to open up the shock and rebuild it? I've let all the air out and pumped it up again a few times to no avail. I'm filling it to ~175psi and I am about that weight.
    Thanks for the help,
