Can you find out model year from serial number? (Rockshox)

I have a Tora 318 Solo air. The fork is stamped with an '06.' I've read that can mean it is either an '06 model, or an early '07 model. Can the model year be deciphered by the serial number?

Reason I ask is that the '06 requires 130ml of oil in the MoCo damper, while the '07 requires 145ml.

Well, the first link (oil chart) answered the question 130ml it is.

I was looking at the the third link, under the damper service section. Page 28 has a table that says 145ml for the Tora 318, but I can't tell if it is air or coil specific.

Ah...yes that is a little misleading.

Go back up to page 7...there is a huge table that lays out all the oil volumes and viscosities for all forks in right, left, upper, and lower legs. Both coil versions take 145ml, the solo air takes 130ml (honestly I am not sure why, as the damper is the same).....
