break in period after fork service?

so i just finished working on my 2011 rockshox sektor, first time ever servicing a fork. New oil, seals, dust wipers, and a couple new O-rings (all RS brand).
debatable whether it really needed it, but once i was in there i just did it.
The reason i serviced it was because i felt like it could have been smoother, it had a stickyness to it. I got it used so i figured i might as well start fresh and be on top of maintenance.
Something about it def feels a little different, still doesnt feel super smooth. Although i think i did everything just fine, a part of me is a bit paranoid ive screwed up the job. Wont be able to get a solid test ride for a couple days though... is it normal to have any kind of break in period after service?

Given that all the seals etc are new, then I'd expect them to behave in a similar fashion to a new fork, so yes, there will/should be a break in period.
I don't crash, I just have slightly uncontrolled dismounts!

i searched around and saw mixed experiences, some say new bushings and seals need break in, some say their fork was smooth right from the get go.
I guess ill have to go for a couple rides first.
