    boXXer r2c2 service kit...which one?

    hello, like the title states i'm not sure which rebuild/service kit i need for a 2011 R2C2. every kit i see for the boXXer says either Race, Team or WC.
    now i've been told that the Team internals were the same as the R2C2....but i'd like someone to verify that before i go spend $50 on a gasket kit.

    thanks in advance!!

    oh btw i did email sram/rockshox...no answer a week later.

    no i was hoping to do a full rebuild.
    for whatever reason i can't find a kit for the r2c2...but there's a seal/gasket kit for every other boxxer out there.

    RC = Race. R2C2 = Team.

    that's strange because chainreaction.com sells a kit that says for the r2c2/WC and every other website just lists the team and race kits.

    The main difference between the R2C2 and the WC is just the air spring vs. coil spring.

    Most likely, for a full rebuild on a 2011 you don't need any kits at all. Just download the service manual from the Rockshox website, pull the lowers, service the coil spring side, service the damper and unless the o-rings on the damper are chewed up (mine are still perfect after two full years of use), you won't need to replace anything when you put it back together.
