Anyone replace FCR lever on their Thor/Wotan?

Mine hasn't broken yet but it's just a matter of time, it is also poorly designed and difficult to reach. I have heard of other using the PopLoc and pushloc levers instead but it seems like they need to be modified not to be locked in position (the cable should be released the second the lever is released rather thn after a second click), I have also read that a gravity dropper lever would work as well. Would love to hear the pros and cons and others' experience.

On a related note - has anyone done any oil weight tuning on their thor?
looks like switching to 10wt oil has worked well on wotans

Wha? My FCR for my Wotan has been pretty damn robust and it's not difficult to reach unless you mount it in the wrong spot. You know you can slide it in and out on the handlebar and rotate if you want right? Just takes the turn of an itty bitty allen wrench to make it happen. Not hard at all.

Seriously, durability has never been an issue with the remotes that came with my fork, maybe they changed them...? I haven't heard anything about it to be honest.
    Bike good, work bad.
