Anybody know if the 2014 RS Pike 160 can be lowered?

Can't find any info anywhere on it. I cracked her open and tried a spacer but that didn't work.

Just found out from my LBS that it cannot be lowered w/o replacing the air sleeve. Doh!

Oh well, you'll just have to go a bit fast and use the extra travel.

Are different length air sleeves available? 140mm?

Huh? You can't slip in spacers under the air piston, and on top of the topout spring like most air forks...ie) Revelations...?

150 will be available as they sell it as an option. Not sure about the 140. Kinda doubt it.

Nope. I had the thing apart and it's different than the Rev. No place to put the spacer. I had my LBS contact RS and they confirmed that you need to replace the entire airshaft to shorten it. Unfortunately parts won't be available for a bit.

Yeah I got a pike at my LBS a week ago and they said it wasn't supported. I was trying to decide between a 160 and 150. They both have both sag guides on the stanchions so its kind of weird that its not easy to switch travel. Oh well it's a great fork anyway.

You didn't happen to have shot some pics did you...? Or actually, maybe some exploded engineering dwgs?
