I bought this shock new retail this past fall and had a concern I never got around to addressing. I noticed when I was first checking the compression adjustment range and had pushed a bit hard at either end of the adjustment range, the whole assembly underneath it feels like it rotates. I wasn't trying to manhandle the thing but I wanted make sure I was at the end of adjustment. So originally the knob's range is from the 12(soft) to 4 o'clock(stiff) position. I can push the knob further with a little bit more force to make it sit at the 6 o'clock position. Now to go full soft, you're now at the 2 o'clock position. Same range, it just shifted. Is this normal or does this mean the compression adjustment may have been damaged somehow? It does seem to ride just fine and the changes in compression adjustment can be noticed.
