2007 Reba Team on a Scale LTD for racing

    Hi guys,

I am planning to set up a Reba Team on a Scott Scale LTD as my race bike and I was wondering if there are problems with this set up as versus using an SID or an F80rlc?

Did ask an elite racer who is sponsored by Scott and he said that a SID or an F80RLC will be better for the Scale. Just want to know why.

It depends on what your looking for. If your looking for the lightest go with the SID, it also requires the most maintanence. RS recommends rebuilding every 24 hrs of ride time. The Reba is overall a better fork, stiffer, and only 1/2 lb heavier. All of the forks would work fine, assuming 80mm travel. The Fox is nice too, but your LBS is probably more likely to have small parts and knowledge of the RS rebuild.

    Reba WC

Your Scott Scale Ltd deserves a Reba World Cup!

Light, stiff [I ditched Pace RC39 cos they were twangy], adjustable, remote lockout, look cool.

    Desision made!
