120 mm travel on 2012 Reba RL 29er fork?

Does anyone know if it's possible to increase the travel from 100 mm to 120 mm on a 2012 Reba RL 29er fork? I came across a very good deal on this fork and probably will buy it anyway as I can use it also in 100 mm mode, but it would be nice to know if it is possible to increase the travel. Anyone done it?

You should be able to. I believe that internal spacers limit the travel between 80/100/120 mm.

you can always download a tech manual for the fork and see what I says in there. At the same time though you will have to make sure that the manual is 100% for that fork. I have run into that problem with my lyrik, they showed the 2011 fork insides but mine is a 2012 and they changed how the reduce the travel on that fork in 2012.

I believe they stopped being extendable to 120mm in 2012.

If you look on the SRAM website in the specs tab for both the RL and RTL Reba forks, it lists both the 26" and 29" versions as 80/100/120mm capable. But if you read the parts list doc, it states in the section where the all-travel spacer is that only the 26" version goes to 120mm, and the max travel for the 29er version is 110mm. See page 31 of the SRAM spare parts catalogue. I'm referring to the 2012 model btw.
