    10' RockShox Reba SL 29er

For some reason I cant find any info about this. Does anyone know the weight?

Im guessing RS replaced these with the Reba RL but whats the difference with these and the other Reba's like RLT?

Published weight for the 10 Reba SL with an uncut steerer was 3.6 lbs. Actual weight will vary slightly depending on steerer length and options like the pop lock remote.

Wow that's really light for a 29" fork!

Thing is... I was thinking about buying an Reba SL 29" since I found for a good price but cant find much info on them. I was hoping for some feedback. I know they got installed on most midrange XC bikes for the past several years so im surprised not to find much on them...

Wasn't the Reba line renamed the RL, RLT, and RLT Ti in 2010?
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,

Yes it was, but 2011 I think. That's the reason I
Asking in this thread, what has changed?

What do you want to know about it?

Great fork. Light (between 3.5 and 4 lbs.). Really tunable.

Thanks for the feedback! I heard that the SL had issues with seals leaking. I don't know if it's a 29" thing only but was wondering what changed between the SL and RL?

I have an '09 Reba SL and an '09 Team Reba (20mm Maxle). Both have been stellar though a couple thousand miles combined (at least) on ~70% trails of all sorts and a bit 'o pavement when mud bogs prevailed.

well I am a happy user of the 26' RS reba team. Great tune-able fork. downside is that RS has some quality control problems but good news are that those issues can be fixed easily with widely available tools, parts, oils plus lots of advice/tips on the web - thats the reason I chose Reba over fox forks. I have not heard about seals leaking but if thats your concern, you can always go for enduro seals

the seal in question is an o-ring on the damper side. if it leaks oil into the lowers it hydolocks the fork. simple fix is to replace the oring. this is regular yearly maintenance for any fork. I think the problem was mostly on the '08 though. I've rebuilt this fork in 30 min with new fluid and all orings so IMO it's a nonissue.

ya, 29 and 26 are the same. it mostly goes by technology. U-turn, motion control, solo air, dual air.
