I just reinstalled my '00 SID after having it "serviced" at the shop. I attempted to adjust the air pressure in the left leg and all the air rushed out of the valve. I proceeded to refill the leg with air, but as soon as I unthread the pump the air again rushes out. I tried to see if the valve was obstructed or stuck, it looked OK.
I called the shop and explained the issue and I got "Oh yeah, the mechanic was having trouble with that too. You need to bring it back". Nice.
Anyway, I wanted to know if this is a common part to fail (the fork never had been apart or failed in 4 years of use) or a result of the work that was done. I know that might be hard to say. What does this part cost?
Thanks for the look,
