I want to get a XTR 980 crankset and want to go dual with a bashguard - is that possible?
someone told me that xtr cranks might give me problems fitting a bash.

and should I get original triple or dual system to fit bash?

will probably fit Blackspire chainrings as they make some especially for 980 cranks

plus, am I correct here? will the following work?
10 speed cranks with 10 speed shifter front. 9 speed xtr cassette back with 9 sp derraileur and 9 speed chain - I think it should.
