I've used the xts ever since Ive been riding, great cassette, I just got a good deal on xtr so Im trying it out, but you cant go wrong with the xt:thumbsup:
I've used them both. When it comes to chain rings chain and cassette shimano is way better, imo. Shifting always seems better on shimano parts, even now I have xo shifters and rd but everything else is shimano.
Well I have a 990 on my Chameleon, an XTR on my Blur, and an XT on my Bullit. Don't really notice a huge difference on the shifting, have used both Sram and Shimano chain on them all--the chain makes the big difference--Shimano shifts better imho. Oh yea all the bikes have Sram shifters X.0 or X.9
