so my xt breaks are about six months old but lately they have been not working to great.. actually they have been squeeling like a dieing goose and vibrating the whole bike. the rotors are true and the pads look they have alot of life still inthem.. has anyone else had this problem.the only thing i can think is that the pads could of got contaminated but i am very careful when cleaning the bike :madman: :madman: :madman:
yeah i tried sanding and cleaning too. i think it was the wet crush lime stone i was riding while the trails were wet, that screwed mine up. so i guess ill have to dish out the 40 dollars or so unless someone has a magical cure
Have you been riding in the cold (below freezing)? The new style XT calipers have issues with the cold that can cause small fluid leaks and contaminate the pads. I just had my calipers replaced under warranty.
