Both new? Close call. I would think the SLX has the benefit of trickle down technology and it does have the external bottom bracket. However some swear by the older style bb of the XT 752......both are new I take it?

    hmmmm

    =)

the xt is slightly used and the slx is brand new..

someone wants to sell me at the same price..

seriously unsure which one to choose. Is new technology always better for cranks?

I would get the SLX. I have both the 760 and 770 series cranksets. The big difference between them is the quailty of the chainrings. The SLX should have similar improved chainrings.

go for slx new technology vs xt old brand.
