"Real" Ice Tech Pads w/Fins: Metal or Resin?

    I'm

Are true Ice Tech pads with the cooling fins resin or metal? Or is there a choice and still have the cooling fins.

Are the resin one's quieter and the metal more powerful or ? Do the cooling fins really cool that much faster?

These XT trail brakes are so cool but I'm wondering if they're really that much better than other brakes.

Both metal, and resin can be had with or without cooling fins. I have been using the metal and love them. Can't comment on cooling effects other than what I've read. They work great That's enough for me.

Pros/cons of metal vs. resin? Metal=more power but more squeal. Resin=less squeal but less power and wear faster?

Run one of each in your brakes. More power and less squeal.

Does anybody make pads with cooling fins for older shimanos? Like my M775
