Old single piston Saints any good?

Long story short, I bought a set of Saint brakes from a co-worker for $100. I thought it was a screaming deal as they are unused and still in the box. Upon taking out the spacer in the caliper, I noticed only 1 piston per side.

So my question is, are they worth bolting on my rig? I currently have Avid Juicy 3's on my 5" full squish AM bike. Will the stopping power be greater with the Saints?

I have used these brakes with good success, far greater than I have had with any juicy that's for sure.
Well, it was a good try.
