    going tubeless

I have 2010 shimano xt wheelsets. rims say they are ust tubeless ready. do i have to buy special conversion kit for going tubless, or can i go down and buy tubeless stems and throw some stans sealant in there, call it good?. im also running kenda nevegals fr/r. first time going tubless.

your rims is tubeless ready, so need for stans though might be good if your using non tubeless tires but makesure they are compatible by stans rules (go to there website for non tubeless tires lists). If your going to use tubeless type tires then its ok with or without stans though it helps with stans for extra protection but will add some weight, your call?
