Front XT Deore 15mm hub shifted?

Out of nowhere this issue came up. For some reason my front hub seems to have shifted a little bit and the rotor is rubbing the brake mount. Anyone have any clue what might have caused this and any solutions?

Are you sure about hub shifting? Is it loose? What brakes do you have?

I know some of the Shimano hubs with aluminum axles (including the through axle hubs) tended to have the cones loosen up while riding. I have a Saint hub that did this multiple times until I added loctite to the cone threads. If it got loose enough maybe it would cause the rotor to rub. With the wheel mounted on the bike, if you grab the tire and wiggle it side to side do you have any play?

Also some of the Rock Shox Rebas with through axles up to 2011 had lowers that were not cast straight and would cause the clearance between rotor and brake mount to be extremely tight, less than 1 mm. Could be that too if you have one of those.
