    Can I use XX Cassette with XTR..

    Can I use XX cassette with XTR group.. I'm looking for a way to take out some of the XTR weight over XX.. Looking for 156 grams..

    Yes you can as long as you mean 10 speed xtr and obviously the xx cassette only comes in 10 speed so it will be fine. Just a heads up though there will be new 11 speed xtr soon and maybe new xx as well so if you are doing a new build it may be worth waiting

    Yeah, of course I bought my XTR kit and did the install about three days before the 11 speed announcement.. No buggy. 10 is enough for me.. Thanks for the info though, the XX cassette is so much lighter than the XTR..
