960 vs 970 BB bearings differences?

Does anyone know if the 960 and 970 bottom bracket bearings different or are they interchangeable?
    Thanks!

they are interchangeable. there is no difference between the bearings but the new cups have better seals.

No. By all accounts, the 960 bearings are the standard 6805 25x37x7mm, whereas the 970 uses 25x37x6mm bearings. Find the 6-page recent thread about ceramic bearing replacements which I was asking questions with chris from enduro bearings to check those numbers, it's almost 2am and I'm off to bed.
