New question here. 07' XT cassette?

My buddy bought an XT casette from ebay..The seller claimed it as an 07' but theres no year stated on the box or cassette..
It has a 5 arm spider if that helps..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..TIA

the 5 arm cassete has been around for a while and is not specific to 07,

it was introduced due to bent rings as there was a lack of stiffness.

other than that i cant help determine the age sorry

there is no difference between the 05, 06 and 07 XT cassette. they have not changed since then. CS-M760 is the model number and that is still current.

The five arm aluminum spider was introduced to save weight. Shimano never said anything about it adding stiffness when it was introduced.
