what size Ace for a 6' rider

getting ready to pull the trigger on the Ace. the specs show a 6' rider should get the large, just wondering what the experience here has been. Any other 6'ers out there riding the ace? what size do you suggest.

    thanks!

Go by the top tube length , if you can compare it to your current ride .

I'm 6.1 and have the same doubt, M or L. Today I have a Haro Sonix 18", but it has a top tube of 600 mm, larger than the average.

Would like to know from the topic owner how do you fell with the "L" bike.

I'm actually quite happy with the size and was VERY nervous to be getting the large. Glad I did though, feels right, handles well. I still would have loved to at least tried a medium. I like to jack my seat up so with the Large I have a bit more room - I imagine with the Medium I'd have it up to the minimum recommended insert length.

If you look at the geometry closely you'll see there really isn't that much difference between the medium and large. If you got the medium and felt it was too small, increase the stem length, large too big, decrease stem. (http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/187...onarch-2.1.htm)

If you're measuring your actual top tube length on the Haro, looks like the large would be the bike for you to match it pretty close (59.3cm). I know there was another guy on the forum who is 5'11" and went with the medium but ended up getting a new stem and seatpost.

The Sonix has 600mm of effective top tube, measured at an horizontal line, the Ace L has 615mm.

Anyway, thx for your advice, I'll go with the L.
