Spraying Sette frame with clearcoat won't void warranty!

Before I ordered my Reken frame, I e-mailed PP to see if I could spray on clearcoat (to further protect the paint) and not void the warranty. They said as long as it's clearcoat, that would be fine.
Anyone else do this, and did it help protect the paint?

Getting the frame on Monday. Can't wait, since my current frame is too small, thus causing some pain issues.

That's a fine idea. My frame has some gnarly scrapes from just going on/off the bike rack on the car...

    Update-
Just got the frame today, and I gotta say the quality exceeded my expectations. The welds look great, and the overall look of the frame is much greater than the price tag.
Really looking forward to the build.
Unfortunately, can't find matte clear coat, so I'll just leave it the way it is.
The matte black finish is really nice.

Any hardware store, or walmart should have flat/matte clear coat.
