Sette Suspension Pivot Bearings - service schedule?

I don't know how much the previous owner rode the bike for but I did see he purchased the bike sometime around mid 2008. I have the Sette Ace. I'm guessing they will eventually need to be replaced at some point.

How long do these bearings typically last, on this type of frame?
Do you guys regularly just end up replacing them at intervals?
How do you take them out?

I torqued down all the bolts with loctite and checked the frame for any play and do not feel any. I also cycled the rear up and down without the shock and it seems to move freely.

    if it works it works.

you shouldn't have to touch the bearings. because the ace has bearings and not bushings they will last much much much longer.

i've had mine for a bit less then a year and its seen maybe 15-20 races with no sign of them needing to be replaced.
