    Sette ACE XC Race Bike

Hello guys, here is my Sette ACE XC Race Bike. Bike is cheap but rides like a champ. I live here in the Dutch Carribbean. Love this bike, its my 1st FS bike. Enjoy it. Any question about the drivetrain? It's combination of XX and shimano, and works perfect.
Shimano 10 sp R770 flatbar shifters, XX cassette and a XT shadow RD.

    Sette ACE

    It weights 11.9kg.
The shifters, they shift good, but I think the shifting distance is shorter then the 9 speed because the cogs are closer together, i will have to get acostumed with it.
The Chainrings are 44 and 32, I will try to get my hands on a 42 and 30 for races with a lot of climbing. I'm not a climber, I'm a sprinter, I sprint a lot at the line for a podium, thats why I'm afraid to race with a 42.
I'll have to test this setup in our Nat.CHamp. route wich is a circuit of 5 laps with a 125m of climbing each lap. Last year in my last lap I used the 22 for some climbing, this year I dropped my body and my bikes weight, so I'll see if I can climb with this setup.

    I don't know why

Yes thats the weight. I don't have the time to dissassemble and weight everything, to identify the culprit. But Ithink the wheels and tires are little heavy. Those mavics aren't that light, I bought them because I'm a little heavy and I wanted durable wheels, but I'm thinkin of building ZTR wheels with 32 spokes, wichh is light and can withstand my abuse.
I'm going to switch the handlebar for a easton monkey lite and the seatpost for a KCNC scandium.

Facelessfools, Nice and lite bike. A 10kg FS bike must ride awesome!
The middleburn crank is very lite.

mtbiker3995: the muiddleburn dropped a good 200g from my stylo's i had. i haven't weighed everything but i always look into it for my upgrades. my wheels are nowhere neer as lite as id like them. the sun rims are nice and the dt revs too but the hope hubs aren't weight weenie material, but they are quality
as for the ride its wicked in the climbs over my last bike. im easily two or three gears higher at all times.
