My much loved and worn Trek 8500SL frame is failing...
Looking to move the components to a cheap AL 26" frame for my slightly bizarro 3rd bike - single speed 26er w on one drop bars and rigid fork.
It's unlikely that I'll find the antique geometry of my '98 8500SL, so I'm looking at a new fork too. Prefer Steel, Carbon may do.
Any suggestions on a fork (Rim Brakes) that'll work well with the Reken Frame?
Also, those that have built on this frame... did you have the bb faced?
