The frame is Aluminum. I will weigh it tonight. This bike is lighter than my GIant xtc. The frame is 4.6 lbs and the fork is 5.3lbs I think. But I will weigh it tonight and let you know.

I love the black and blue! What did the weight come out to?

I weighed it 3 times and they were all about 27lbs. I took it out on the trails Sunday and got lots of thumbs up on the black and blue. The 1x9 is money and all I need, I only used 3 of the gears so I may go singlespeed soon.

I just went to 1x9 too. It's the best thing I've ever done! I thought I'd miss that extra speed on the descents but I don't. Also, the hills are no problem. I've been able to clean fairly technical climbs on my Reken that I had to push the old Schwinn over. I love my Reken.
