This will be my third Sea Otter. I will finish at the bottom quarter of the sport singlespeed crowd and will be proud of it. (I know the category name is different this year.)
I noticed that resting a few days before the race helps me, and I was planning to rest about 5 days this time too. The problem is, I will be away from my bike from March 27 through April 8. That leaves only 9 days to recover from jet-lag and get ready for the race.
What should be my plan?
Not that I am competitive, but I don't want to do too bad or cramp either.
