    Super D Gear Size? 36t? 38t?

So im traveling to Sea Otter for my first time in April, im more than excited i absolutely cannot wait! I will be competing in the Super D event on my santa cruz heckler. My question is, what gear ratio should i run? I currently have 34t / 22t setup up front, im thinking that i should move up to a 36 or 38 tooth chainring up front? Can anybody give some insight on what gear setup works the best for this super d course?

    Thanks!

Put on the biggest ring you've got. Each year I top out with the 44t and I'm seriously considering putting on a road 52t or something this year...
Thank you Lord for strength, endurance, and salvation.

Yep. Unless you're in Open Men 40-49, in which case I recommend keeping the bash ring on, and removing your middle ring. Just use the 22t.
