I was wondering the same thing. I am probably going to buy this bike; does anyone know anything about these Syncros wheels, particularly their weight?

I just built up a Spark 730 with these wheels. I was planning on getting rid of them pretty quickly. However a quick inspection suggested the wheels are tubeless even though they are not marketed as such. The rim had a deep channel, a tall bead seat, and a bead hook. One layer of Gorrilla tape, a Stan's valve, two scoops of Stan's sealant, and a quick shot from the air compressor got the stock Ron's to mount up no problem. I haven't got to ride them yet, but I'm pretty encouraged.

They are probably similar to the XC-49 on the 29ers and likely not the lightest rims/wheels in the world. Plus I am not a fan of Shimano cup/cone hubs (rear).

    Update:

I did two short 1.5 hour rides and an 8 hr race on this set up. So far zero issues. I'm pretty stoked that for around $25 you can have a very reliable tubeless set up.
