Scott Scale Pro 29er HT best value in lineup?

In regard to the current pricing of 2012 Scale 29er carbon HT, is the Pro the best bang for the buck in terms of off-the-showroom floor for a 2x10 rider, weight and fewer parts needing replaced for a truly lightweight highend ride?

Looking at the 2012 specs and my spare parts, all I'd do is switch my Crest wheels or sub-1500 gram Chinese carbon wheels and XTR 11-36, my '12 SID RCT3, put on a wider carbon bar and XO 10sp gripshift and throw in my xtr race brakeset. Everything else seems good to go.

Or is the Expert with its 3x10 still the better value since they share the frame? Replace crankset, shifters, rear D, brakes, fork, wheels, cassette, bar.

Sell brand new oem parts to limit damage.
