My new (to me) 2012 Scale Team

I just picked this up last week for $700 off of Craigslist from a college professor that never rode her. She is virtually brand new and my first 29er...I'm in love. Pics are just from my Droid, but I am really glad I bought the Scale. I was going to get a Cobia (I liked the Chi Red 2012) but this one showed up and I believe it has better components (save the fork) than the Cobia.

Sunset Ride -- Mayer to Mt Union Arizona.

Saw one mountion lion, one group of wild turkey, and some deer... all in one ride...

My scale does an outstanding job making the climbs necessary for these views.

    Scale 720

Bought a Spark 700 late last fall. Really enjoyed the 27.5 wheels, so decided to go that way for my hardtail race bike as well.

I had already bought a spare set of Stans Crest wheels for my Spark, plus I had an XTR groupo on my Scale Pro 29er, so I decided I would swap some parts, sell my Scale 29er, plus my extra race wheels and get down to 2 bikes/3 wheels sets. I got a good deal through my race team/shop/distributor, so I went 720 to get the carbon frame. I actually wanted the 730, preferred the colour and 2x10 drive train, but the wheels weren't 15mm and 12x142 through axles.

Not quite the final product. Still need to swap a couple things (like seatpost) to get the weight down further. 22.08 lbs as shown.
