    Racing

So I already posted a photo of my bike here but someone snapped a photo of me racing on it and I figured that would be better. Not a single problem at all throughout the entire collegiate race season. Scott Scale Pics-12091430_1068068769883656_4660016081877767808_o.jpg

Beautiful bike Dangeroo0! Congrats on the great result. What crankset are you using? I have a Scale 910 as well and am looking to replace the XT crankset that came stock.

Thanks, that is just the stock XT crank arms with an Absolute Black Oval 34t ring. I have a set of silver XT crank arms which I tried but they just didn't look right.

All those scale looks fantastic, I have a 2016 scale 910, really like the bike, But I use it as my trail bike too, so looking into a dropper post, But the 34.9 ID makes things harder, anyone running a shim on the scale? Looked at the syntance shim of 34.9 to 31.6 and with a 145mm lenght, it is safe to use a shim?

My 2016 .. It's a 960 finally put some actual tubeless tires on it. Really loving it as it is my first MTB as an adult .. Kinda wish it was the 950 but this will give me plenty to grow into as I learn what XC is all about.

I used a seat post shim on my Scale 920 and had zero issues.

Not sure about the tire question. I sold the bike after a time, and really only used the stock tires.

Should fit no problem, I am using an IKON 2.35 in the back, a little tight but no rubbing.

I run a 2.3 Renegade in the rear of my 2015 Scale 910...it fits but without much room to spare. A 2.25 Nobby Nic should be fine.

I stumbled onto a NOS 27.5" 2013 Scale 700 RC frame-only back in December. After purchase I discovered it was quite a rare find, as it is a Nino-spec'ed Swisspower frame, 1 of only 25 here in the US.

The full buildup was spec'ed and assembled by me, yet with the team-replica frame it proved to be a bit challenging in a few respects. Just a few examples, BB was a PF30 versus all other 700RCs having BB92, front derailleur mounting was unique & not a bracket that Scott used on any other frames, the lower BB cable-guide used the 'old' mounting, and Scott USA wasn't much help as they had no record of even such a frame being produced nor in existence...

    Highlights include:
Full carbon HMX Nino Shurter team-replica frame, matte finish
    RockShox SID-XX World Cup
XTR M98x brakes, shifters, front and rear derailleurs
2x10 drivetrain (11-36t SRAM rear cassette, 28-40t XTR front)
    Ritchey Superlogic seatpost, handlebar, headset
    DT Swiss XRC1250 carbon rims
Schwalbe Rocket Rons w/ EvoTubes (giving them a try before going tubeless)
    Hope PF30-->BB92 conversion BB

Final weight w/out pedals was 18.6lbs, and ready-to-ride with the Xpedo FaceOffs at 19.5lbs. Also have XTR pedals for the rides when I want to lock-in...

    Hope you enjoy the candy.
