    Ransom + Monarch 4.2

    Hey riders,

Not sure it has not been treated before, but here it is :
I sent to service the Monarch 4.2 and wanted to put it back in place. After removing the inner pressure for it to fit in the space between the 2 axles, I noticed that if the bike goes as high as it can (when the rear shock unwinds completely), the adjustement part comes in contact with another axle. That should not happen while riding, but still, I can't help thinking that there is something wrong. I hope the pictures attached will help you help me ;-)

Reverse the way the shock is mounted. There's no way any shock will fit the way you have it in there.

Well, I would be tempted to reply that I can't find the way to mount it the other way around. The axles lenghts are not the same : 22 mm for the one we see on my first picture, 18 for the other one. Any way those axles were wrongly mounted after service ?

Bring it to a shop. The 22mm bushing reducer should be where the 18mm one is. And the 18mm should be where the 22mm is. A shop can fix that for you in 5minutes

Hey, just to close this topic, you were right, I brought back the bike and those 2 parts were inverted (grrrrrr). Now everything is great.
    Thanks for your help !
