Picked up a 2013 Scott Scale 740 today, question about the Float 32 Evo on it

Does anyone know if the Float 32 Evolution CTD that comes on these bikes is plagued with the issues that early 2013 Float 32's seem to have? I couldn't find any specific answer, and since this bike is billed as a late 2013 model, I have no idea if I'll have the same issues and have to replace the damper with a 2014 model.

Congrats on the new bike! Is the Giant Revel going to retire? No idea on the fork.

Thank you! I've started racing and the Revel was just too heavy for such things, so I sold it to a friend of mine.

13-14 damping issues were with the fit. Evo damper is completely different with zero internal adjustments.

I've got about 200 miles on it so far, and I love it.

People around me had me convinced going from a 29er to a 650b was some sort of taboo and shouldn't be done. For whatever reason, people are on the 29er hype train. 29ers are great, but they aren't the only option.

It carves turns really well, and climbs like a Billy Goat. It's very easy to whip around berms and hit sweet Napoleon Dynamite jumps.

The only issues I've noticed with it, I'm having to relearn when to rest the peddles in the downward position. The bottom bracket height is higher on a 29er so it's much easier to rest one side of the peddles without peddle strikes. I'm having to relearn where I can and can't do that on the 650b. It tends to be a bit more harsh on roots and bumps as well, but nothing that is terrible.

Glad I went with the 740 and likely won't go back.

Rode my cousins 740 the other day! Awesome bike! It was all stock so it didn't really fit me well. I like my bars higher so I'm not leaning forward over the front tire but it definitely carves corners like its on rails!

The only pic I have currently is from when I brought it home. The only mods on it are tubeless and 1x10 using a 36t Race Face NarrowWide. The only other thing I want to do to it is put a short cage on the XT rear derailuer since the current one slaps around a lot with the 1x setup.
