    Which Monarch shock for Spark?

Which Monarch shock would you use instead of the Nude2 shock? I'm going to use the bike for xc and endurance racing. I prefer to both be able to lock out the rear and to have some pro pedal (fox term) in open modes.

I have now ordered a Monarch XX. I'll let you know how it performs with the Spark frame.

Does the Spark work best with a certain tune of RockShox?

edit: Search indicates a medium tune.

A medium turn is supposed to be best for the Spark's leverage ratio.

I would get the firmest pedal mode platform since the geometry of the suspension does little to prevent pedal bob, it needs the help of the shock.
