Geoff Kabush and the 29er Scale

I have to say I am quite surprise to see Geoff racing for Scott, and racing the Scale 29er. As a cat 1 racer the 29er's HA is way too slack for me (and am thinking of letting mine go for something w/ quicker handling). It's why I imagined the Swiss Scott riders were still riding the 26er version of the scale. It will be interesting to see how he does in the world series on that 29er, and what kind of input he will have on future versions for the bike.

The Scale 29er H.A is only 0.5 more slack than the 26er. The 29er was designed with the majority of input from the Swiss Scott riders to start with.

Also, it is fairly similar (1 slacker) to the Element he was riding most of this year.

I race elite in Canada and US and have been riding the RC 29er for a while now and really like it. Definitely different, but I think I'll be using it for most races this upcoming year. Also, Geoff will have all the bikes, and basically picking based off what he likes for that specific course.
