    a decision to make - Spark 920 2013 vs Spark 930 2014

    Hello all,

Recently I was offered to purchase each of the above bikes at the same price.

I'm pretty confused. Which to choose, which will be better?

I'm riding a Spark 60 2010 which serves me well. Will I really feel the difference?

    Yoav.

I've got the 2013 Spark 920 and I think it's a great bike. That being said I think the Fox rear shock is worth going for the 2014 930. The groupset is not much between the two - I was looking between the 930 and 920 for 2013 and only chose the 920 because I wanted Shimano SLX/XT over SRAM X7/X9 as I preferred the shift action on the Shimano kit and the paint job on the 920. Faced with the same choice for 2014 I would probably go to the 930.

You will surely notice the diff between a 2010 Spark 60 (I went from a 2009 Scale 50) to a 2013/2014. Carbon front, better rear suspension set up, twinloc (best part of the bike IMHO), better wheels, better everything.

    Ride both.

    Good luck with your decision...

Oh and to complicate things - I am thinking of getting a 2014 Genius 710... but not just yet.

Think 2014 went to interchangeable rear drop outs also.
