Just could not get the Ario 2R on my '09 Spark 35 to behave and way too cheap to order up a Fox, so found a Manitou four-way adjustable Swinger Air on closeout in the wrong size but right price. Looked at the eye-to-eye length and stroke of the Manitou, then at the orientation of the suspension links on the Spark and Eureka! Swapped the links left for right which dropped the rear shock pivot changing both the length between pivots and leverage ratio and the result was perfect. May have increased travel a bit (unintended consequence), but more importantly, it is fully adjustable for preload, compression, rebound and bottoming resistance. The new shock is more consistent, way better with small bump compliance and completely rebuildable. Cheapness prevails!
