New question here. Advice on Scott Aspect 55, first Mnt bike ever.

First of all, just got into Mnt. biking about 10 days ago.
Found a 2010 Scott Aspect 55 for $340 (ridden on local streets only).
I don't know if it is a good deal... what do you guys think?

Anyways, I don't know what to upgrade if at all, and if i do, what should i upgrade too.
I have a limited budget right now since i just bought the bike.

    Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

It's a decent entry-level bike and the price is about right. Sounds like its used? Offer $300 and then meet in the middle at $320. Also, if it is used, I recommend having it serviced/tuned at your LBS before any riding. To me, there is nothing less enjoyable than riding an out of tune bike. Talk to them about the kind of riding you intend on doing and see what they recommend as far as upgrades/changes to the bike.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I guess I will take my bike to get a tune up at the LBS and get my genitals revoked at the same time.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
