I can't believe no one got back to you yet on pricing. The Spark is retailing @ $4849.99 and the 920 @ $4199.99. The difference between the two is components. Frame, fork and shock are all the same....Hope this helps

Thank-you Scottie, I had changed my mind for now and I went and got a fat bike but I am keeping my Spearfish for now maybe? I'm looking real hard at the Spark 930 I like Sram stuff so that bike would do me well but again I don't know MSRP on any of the Scott MTBs.. Scott needs to put their MSRP up for the U.S. people like to know what the bike is going to cost before we have to drive 100 to 300 miles to a shop that sells Scott bikes.

Sorry for the delayed response to this so I am going to answer all your Scott questions this time around. The reason for no pricing on the Scott site is it is a global site (not U.S specific) so the pricing would be all jacked up and most people would probably look at the euro pricing and have sticker shock not knowing that it is in euros. It is something that we discuss at meetings with the Scott mothership (based in Switzerland) and it takes the euros forever to do anything to the site (the pricing question just got a german answer. which means they glassed over it). As for pricing the Spark 930 retails for $3699. the Spark 730 (27.5 wheel) same price. Both are excellent bikes if you are doing marathon racing or just all around trail riding. It's not an enduro machine (genius for that) but can be pulled into some light enduro if need be. Most guys on the team (Scott MTB Racing Team east coast based) ride the Spark 9 for most everything and seems like a few of the guys are riding the Spark 7 for the 14 race season. I ride the Scale 7 and am a xc geek and for all day trail rides even on techy stuff I find the Scale is fine. I've ridden the spark and have been a hardtail race geek for 20 years so it's asking a lot for me to have a full sus as an only bike. Where do you live? And where and who is the nearest Scott Dealer to you? You mentioned a lengthy drive.
If you have any other questions about pricing or anything else hit me up buddy and I will answer all for you.
Enjoy the ride and keep the rubber side down……Scottie
