    140mm Float on a Genius 700

I have a Genius 700SL and I'm planning on putting a 140mm Fox 32 on it. The stock version comes with a 120-150mm Talas. How will it affect the ride by going with a Float 140 instead of a 150? I'm not planning to use the twin loc.

Determine the Axle to Crown of both forks then compare. If the A2C is less on the 140mm then you will steepen the head and seat tube angle.

Thanks, I decided to try out a 150mm float and see how I like it. I can only assume the 140mm would make the bike feel a little more XC while the 150mm would excel on the downhills.
