    Haha, funny TNC.

I bought that Progressive Gravity shock for the Nomad. Whopping $25. Not bad for a back up shock. Anyone have any feedback on that thing?

My friend got an LX crankset with BB for $55. He was about to pull the trigger on them for $100 earlier today.

I was tempted to pick up the 8.5x2.5 Fox Float R shock for the Nomad, too, at only $75. And centerlock rotors for $8? Wow. Just wow.

LOL!...yeah, scruff, not sure what I'll do with it. I have 3 bikes it will fit. For grins I will test for myself how an 8.75 fits in my large Nomad. I'm curious, as I've been running a 650B wheel/tire in a 160mm fork. An 8.75 in the rear might be an interesting geometry experiment.

Thanks for the heads up! I just picked up a Float R XV. Does anyone know what the XV stands for? To make it a truly well rounded impulse buy I just assumed it meant it already has the high volume can installed.

Don't forget previous generation size small Nomads for 995.

In addition to the screaming deals on our webstore, we've also uncovered a handful of previous generation Nomad frames that deserve to go to good homes. These are the old, 1 1/8" headtube model, and we only have them in small size, and only in gang green or sand colors. $995, including a fox Float R shock. Can't beat that deal with a stick!
You can find one of these wonderbike by emailing our sales department here

Glad to see everyone scoring some great deals.

MtotheF, a Jackal and a PBR will suffice as payment for my help to
push your ware......even a scratched up demo would be fine. ( I am
talking about the Jackal not the PBR though!)

I had totally forgotten about this. Those look like some great mods to the 5th. If this 8.75 length doesn't do anything weird to my Nomad's geometry or pedaling characteristics, I'm gonna do this. Man, it sounds like a 5th can turn into something perhaps as good as a CCDB with these mods.

Most companies just put out info to their dealers that range from blem bikes and frames to excess components. Surely SC isn't the only one to do this, but I'd bet there are very few. A lot of excess product gets bought up many of the internet sales sites you see in magazines and such. It's understandable when you consider the PITA it is to package and ship "x" number of individual components sold one at a time when compared to "x-name" internet discount giant who comes in and buys all your leftover stock in one sweep.

What were you looking at? I received an email from SC that they ship to Poland. Yet, when I checked the order out the shipment for a 55 USD Fox was 136 USD.

Got me a Fox Float R XV for the Nomad as a back up (like my DHX coil will ever fail though! Just couldn't pass up the deal). Out of curiousity, I checked ebay to see what folks are getting for similar shocks, and low and behold, there were a truckload of Fox Float R XV's out there w/ buy it now's of 100-120. Ebay profiteering at it's best!

    NICE!

Thanks for the link and the heads up on the shock deal. Got one with the right spring and will go off to Avy tomorrow. Will basically have an Avy shock for my 6 Point for just over 200 bones. UNREAL!

    Have FUN!

That was from when Santa Cruz had a garage sale and someone brought 20+ of them at deep discount, and then selling it on ebay. Check the Norcal forum and you will find the post.
