    Superlight shock size?

    Hi friends

I'm sort of a newbie so I apologize if this is something I can easily google (I tried).

Anyways, I own a 2006 Superlight (size large). Original shock is getting tired and I'm shopping for a Fox RP23 replacement. My question is: What size shock do I need. (for example " 8.75 x 2.75")

    Thanks in advance!

    Mat

Can't believe nobody helping with this, did you try SC's tech support? Also I would think PUSH Industries(or other shock upgrade vendor) could lend some help too.
Wait whuuut, who did he tell you that!?!?....

What are you going to get as a replacement? I'm in the market for a new shock for my superlight and I'm not sure what is going to get me the best ride for the money. I was all ready to buy a refurbished one from push industries, but they sold out of that size...bummer

What is the ideal rear shock tune for a superlight? Or maybe I should ask, what is the stock tune for the newer SL?

Shopping for a replacement for my 650B conversion. Original work but we're talking 2001, Thanks.

I want to apologize for bringing up an old thread, i found this thread when i did a google search and wanted to add to this after i placed a call to Santa Cruz and got some more info. For those that may be searching for this same info this is what they have told me for the Santa Cruz Superlight Large frame the rear shock size is 7.875x2.0 inches eye to eye. Hardware size is: Front width is 22mm, hole is 8mm, for the rear hardware width is 41mm, hole is 6mm. Hope this is helpful for those in the future!!
