    Stickers/Decals removable?

In 2003 I bought a santa cruz blur. By the time I removed all the stickers I has something that was larger than a softball and a fair bit of work to remove the glue. The resulting bike looked much cleaner and quite a bit more subtle. I appreciated that because I use it as a commuter during the week and do occasionally lock it outside.

I see now that SC is going crazy with the flashy colors and rims colors matching your frame. Seems silly to me.

Thus my question, are the rim decals removable? How about the frame? I don't really need a 2 foot wide "SANTA CRUZ" written FOUR (4 on nomad, 3 on bronson) times on the down tube. It would be awesome if I could just peel it off.

    Anyone know?

    Under clear coat.
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

Get some vinyl tape that matches the colour of your bike and apply over the decals.

Adding vinyl tape would add precious grams to the bike. Kidding, unless you're a weight weenie...

Ah, interesting. So it's not part of the powdercoating and if I could find someone to remove/redo the clearcoat I could have frame that didn't look like a rolling billboard?

It would be easier to simply get it sand blasted and re-coated any colour you wanted.
