Ive had two bikes stolen from me, one was a crap racer the other was my 1st mountain bike but i got it back cause i put a reward out. The guy who stole it actually returned it so he got sweet FA! But i would love to give him something, straight in the kisser!
I hate these scumbags, its so wrong to steal off the fellow hard working man.
I hope that guy gets whats coming!

I think they should cut his feet off, actually his leg right around mid shin area. I've been told its harder to steal wheelchairs...

Stealing bikes is a sacrilege. It's not like stealing cell phones or some such. Bike thieves not only attack one's property: they attack the irrational, the passions, the freedom.

A bike (especially your custom, hard earned, hard thought out, hard ridden steed) lost to a thief is a total, all round loss. There must be a very special kind of punishment for bike thieves...

On the other hand, I find it very wrong that people *buy* stolen bikes in the first place! Where does this sick kind of demand come from?

I think Singapore has the right idea...Or was this from the bible...

If a man steals, his hands should be cut off so he can never steal again.

I think this is the perfect punishment, and I am 100% sure he will never forget this lesson for the rest of his life.

    Crook was abike shop owner?

Did I read the article right? The crook was a bike shop owner? Wow, I bet the guy charged his paying customers higher than suggested retail prices, too.
