What I want to know is if it will come with insets so I can still run my 150mm rear hub, or will I need to switch to a dt 240 hub as that converts to 157mm? Would hate se sell the king hubs....

Very, very nice, but I think I'm sticking with my old V10 Carbon. I just hope that they would release the new carbon swingarm for the older frame (in matching colorways of course). Otherwise I'm saving my money for Nomad Carbon mk3. It must be the next frame update that comes out, right?

Wow, 2 lbs lighter and with the new Fox 40 coming out, a total of 3lbs. Wish I had the coin for that ride.

I think DT and Hope hubs you just use the 142 caps on the 150 hub. There are threads on it out there.

Isn't this also a substantial price drop? I live in flatlandia, but I'm pretty sure the 4th gen V10 was more expensive.. $4500ish?

3500 is for the frame

Yes, I know. When the V10 4th gen frames were in the SC parking lot sale, they were discounted to $3200.

Those frames were going for $1800...w/ alum rear ends.

Wow!
That is probably the best looking DH bike i've seen. So awesome, but I couldn't come close to using it's potential

Won't fi, I contacted King, the new 157mm King rear hub has different internals, so you will need a new hub or send your old hub to King for conversion.....

What could possibly be updated on the Nomad, except maybe bumping it up to 170 or 175mm of travel?

That's King for you. DT and Hope you just pop the 142 hub end caps on and RIDE.

Lighter, redefined spring curve, geometry, wheel size
I kinda doubt they'd change the travel,,,

Except for weight, I wouldn't want any of those things.

+1
66.5* HA and lowering the BB by 0.25" would be awesome. They should also have two different upper links for air/coil. I think the current design is great for coil but they should make another one for air with less wallow in the 80-120mm range

Haha, that's great. Good luck with that one. I think that this is a very positive move for the industry and think that it will be just a matter of time before the others (Trek and Specialized) follow. That said, I would rather go with a new V10c any day.

I just pre ordered my V10 at a better price than that. with a good chance of a Dec. delivery date.
