    Santa Cruz frames real weight.

Does anybody know real weight of carbon Solo and Branson? Medium or Large?
Feel free to post any other frame weight...
I just weighted a medium orange solo 5:12 and M Black Bronson was 5:14 = 5.87lbs, both carbon. Very close indeed... I would like to confirm the readings.

Paint is heavy. I read somewhere that it is 1/4 lb for the TBLT.

    Santa Cruz frames real weight.

Had a large black/orange Bronson. It was 2,510g for the frame and regular CTD shock (no thru-axle or anything else).
For comparisons sake, a large black Pivot Mach 6 frame/FloatX shock is 2,881g.
Not had a 5010 but the Bronson is very light for a 150mm 27.5 bike.

    Yup, 5lbs 14oz = 5.875lbs for M black Bronson.
    5lbs 12oz = 5.75lbs for M orange Solo.
I asked the shop to weight them and they gave me the readings in oz...

MattMay: so the black 5010 frame alone weighs 1866 g?

2280 g (frame with shock, shock bolts, DT axle and seat clamp)
    - 62 g (axle)
    - 48 g (seatclamp)
    - 268 g (Float CTD shock)
    - 36g (shock bolts)
    =1866 g

    Is this correct?

    Thank you

Hmm... my medium black carbon weighed 2330 grams with DT Swiss Axle (62g) , Direct Mount dropout, mounted shock, and seat QR (46g). That's 5.13 lbs. (5 lbs., 2 oz.) total. All weights were done on a very accurate lab scale.

I forgot to weigh the dropout before installing but I'm sure it weighs more than the standard one.
