restoring powder coat finish for santa cruz blur

    hi
i recently bought a slightly used santa cruz blur with powder coat finish
parts of the frame has slight abrasion mark as if rubbed repeatedly by clothes or shoes etc
this has taken the surface off and the gloss out of the laquer.
is there anything i can do to restore the laquer and regain the gloss
i have consdered a cutting agent but fear this may make things worse rather than better
any advise on how i should proceed would be greatly appreciated
    thanks

Did you try a good grade of car wax as a short term solution?
